英国纽卡斯尔一家经营设计和市场营销为业务的公司出了一项雷人的新规定，员工必须全裸上班！老板认为这样有助于培养团队合作精神，让生意更加兴隆。而员工也惊讶地发现，裸体上班后，他们的工作效率更高，也更加舒服。
自从经济危机爆发以来，这家公司的经营状况开始恶化，6名员工已经被解雇。正在此时，商业心理学家大卫·泰勒想出了一个名为“裸体星期五”的主意，即每逢周五这天，员工们裸体上班，以促进团队合作精神。这项计划取得了巨大成功，甚至被看做公司财富和运气的转折点。
23岁的前台经理萨姆·杰克逊说：“这个主意
太有才了，现在我们可以互相看到裸体，没有任何阻碍。我们没有承受任何压力，因为倘若不愿意，我们随时可以穿上衣服或者内衣，没人干涉。但是我爱自己的身体，并不为此感到羞愧。”
在经过一周的训练后，员工们被鼓励欣赏他们的身体，这让他们更加自信。老板甚至聘请了一位裸体模特，帮助员工们画裸体素描，并与他们交流。萨姆说：“大约花了一周的时间，大卫鼓起了我们的勇气。最初大家都非常紧张，但是现在我已经习惯了，而且感觉非常舒服。尽管这其间可能夹杂各种各样的情绪，但我们发现，这能让我们更加坦诚地对话。而且自那以后，公司状况有了很大好转。”
