British politician and novelist Edward Buler-Lytton, a son of carpenter, hed never disowned his humble origin.
A playboy wanted to make a fool of Edward in pulic, so he asked Edward loudly:" Excuse me, is your father a carpenter?"
"That's true." The novelist admitted.
"Why didn't he make you a carpenter?"
Edward smiled and replied:" Excuse me, is you father a gentleman?"
"Absolutely!" The playboy answered, full of arrogance.
"Why didn't he make you a gentleman?"
